On the afternoon of the second day of the mission, a 6.5 magnitude earthquake hit Leyte with the epicenter located in Albuera, located just the next town away from Baybay. Hanging IV medication were swaying, oxygen tanks we clanging as they hit the walls, patients under spinal anesthesia felt the beds shaking. No one was injured, the hospital only sustained a few cracks on the walls. No one even thought of stopping or postponing the mission. We came, we rode through the quake and we conquered.
